Ongoing research is needed to find treatment options for ovarian cancer. That's why we've developed the FAR-131 clinical research study—to evaluate the safety and efficacy of a potential treatment for ovarian cancer patients.
If your ovarian cancer has relapsed at least 6 months after first treatment with a platinum-containing chemotherapy regimen, then it is considered to be platinum-sensitive. Although 70 to 80 percent of women will achieve a complete remission with this first-line chemotherapy, the majority will have a recurrence of their ovarian cancer at some time in the future.
Participants in cancer clinical research studies are actively contributing to advance cancer research that may help other patients in the future.
