Focus: Individuals with a diagnosis of cancer who
live and work in allen County, Indiana.
All services to these individuals are free.
About us: We offer a cancer guide or "client advocate, to walk with a
person through the chalange of a cancer journey.
We offer the following free services to anyone diagnosed with cancer who lives or
works in Allen County:
medical equipment,supplies, transportation to treatments, home care, and financial
assistance for those
who qualify. In addition we offer many different general and/or focused support groups for
both the
cancer survivor as well as family members and caregivers.
Some of our other groups are:
Bereavement Group for those dealing with loss and grief
Children's Sevices
Conquering Breast Cancer
Esophageal Cancer Group
Turning Points-for all cancer survivors(at any stage og treatment) and their loved ones or
caregivers

About us: Our group was organized in October 1997 and currently have 19
members who are
very close and supportive of each other. This group is a free service of the
Women's Cancer Center (WCC). WCC also serves as a community resource, providing
a lending library of books and videos as well as Internet access. It has a home-like
environment and an experienced staff and volunteers to answer your questions,
translate technical information into language you can understand, and to help coordinate
all aspects of your care. WCC can also connect you with community support groups
and medical providers as needed.
